Hiring Carpet Cleaning Equipment and Doing It Yourself
We are biased because we’ve seen and heard of the problems from DIY cleaning approaches.
The substantial risk is you cause permanent damage or lock in the dirt, meaning the carpets may never be clean again and re-soiling occurs much quicker. Doing it yourself may be OK in some aspects of life, but for something as specialised as this, you need to be careful.
Hiring a Rug Doctor or similar will never be as easy, quick, or effective as the professional system used by C2 Carpet Care, which leaves your carpets clean, dry and fresh in a few hours.
The C2 Carpet Care Approach for Cleaner Carpets A thorough, methodical approach for the best clean possible

1) Pre-Inspection:
Before any cleaning commences we will visually inspect, test and identify the fibre and construction of your carpet.We will evaluate an evaluation of expected results as well as listen to any concerns you may have. We will measure all areas to be cleaned and provide you with an accurate quotation before starting the cleaning process.

2) Commercial Pre-Vacuum
Dry soil is removed using a high-powered commercial twin motor vacuum cleaner. -
3) Furniture Moving
We will move sofas, chairs and tables. We kindly ask you to move all smaller items and breakables out of the room before we arrive.Due to insurance reasons, we cannot move heavy, large or fragile furniture or any electrical equipment. We will clean under these items if there is sufficient room.
If applicable, polystyrene blocks and foil tabs are used under furnishings to ensure no stain transfer into the carpet.

4) Pre-Spotting
Challenging spots and stains are pre-treated with special solutions to increase the chances of removal. Charges may apply for rooms with excessive staining. -
5) Pre-Spray
A pre-conditioning solution is applied to the entire carpet to break down and loosen soils and general spots for thorough cleaning. -
6) Pre-Grooming (Agitation)
A professional machine is used to agitate the carpet fibres, leaving soils suspended and ready to be extracted by the cleaning process. -
7) Soil Extraction and Rinse
The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed using a powerful hot water (steam) extraction machine without over-wetting the carpet or backing.This ensures a deep clean whilst also minimising drying time, allowing the room to be back in use quicker.

8) Post Groom - Set the Pile
If necessary, your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile is standing tall when we leave. Postgrooming on a deeper pile carpet helps the pile dry faster and in the right position. -
9) Speed dry
High-velocity air movers (turbo dryers) can also be utilised after cleaning to promote faster drying. -
10) Post cleaning inspection
Once the cleaning process is completed, we will then inspect the carpets and ensure you are entirely happy with the results prior to leaving.
Stain Prevention
After we finish cleaning, we recommend having your carpets treated with a stain-prevention treatment.

Used the services of C2 Carpet Care today to see what could be done with a staircase, landing and bedroom which had suffered from a variety of stains over the last few years.
Jon arrived exactly when he said he was going to and sent a confirmation text when he was on his way.
